How much does catering cost? How the price is built up
Two quotes for the same number of guests can differ considerably. That is almost always because something different is included. With us, you see every part separately. This is how a price is built up.
Food and drinks per person

For bars you pay per bar, including one staff member. A coffee bar with barista, for example, costs €575 for 4 hours, a beer, soft drinks and wine bar €195 for 2 hours, plus drinks per guest per hour.

For a barbecue and for serving staff we charge a minimum of 4 hours. For the luxury dinner the chef is included in the menu price; preparation (€175) and table service are added.
Delivery or travel
If we only bring food, we charge delivery: a €17.50 starting fee up to 25 km and €27.50 up to 60 km, plus €0.50 per km, return trip. If we collect equipment afterwards, as with a buffet, that is two trips. If we work on site, we charge the vehicle’s mileage (car €0.50 per km, van €0.79 per km, return trip) and the team’s travel time, €45 per hour per person. Collection in Barendrecht costs nothing extra.
Rentals, washing-up and cleaning
- Glassware €0.55 per glass, crockery and cutlery €1.95 per person
- Cocktail tables with covers €22.50, table linen €12.50 per cloth
- Party tent to size, from €195 including set-up and breakdown
- Washing-up service €0.75 per person, final clean and waste removal €125
Surcharges
On Sundays we charge 25% on staff, on public holidays 50%, and at Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 100%. After 11 pm a 25% surcharge on staff applies, and for bookings within two days a 15% short-notice surcharge on the total.
VAT
All prices on our site exclude VAT. Food is charged at 9% VAT; alcohol, staff, rentals and cleaning at 21%. Bars with staff use a mix of both rates. If you order as a private customer, the price calculator shows the amounts including VAT straight away.
How to keep costs under control
- Collect in Barendrecht yourself: then you pay no delivery or set-up costs.
- Order the right amount: one calzone per person is enough for most people.
- Smaller group? Charcuterie boxes are possible from 10 people, a buffet from 40.
- Choose the duration carefully: we charge drinks and staff per hour.
- Book in good time: that avoids the short-notice surcharge.
